- New attack ad from Microsoft knocks Apple's new phones by mimicking a make-believe internal meeting at Apple's headquarters. September 13, 2013 11:04 AM PDT (Credit: Microsoft) If Nokia's ribbing shortly after Apple's new iPhone unveiling this week weren't enough, Nokia's soon-to-be-parent-company Microsoft is joining the fray. The company posted a new video Friday morning knocking Apple's new iPhones and poking fun at the new colors as the only innovation. The video's shot in a rather unusual style that attempts to mimic pitch meetings within Apple's inner confines. Non-speaking characters watching the pitch appear to be Apple's design chief Jony Ive, and another person who might vaguely look like a younger Apple CEO Tim Cook. The less than two minute video ends with a tagline #timetoswitch, and doesn't show off any Windows Phone devices. (via TheNextWeb)
