Perhaps he'd espied something fascinating happening in the bus, something that Google Street View trawlers would, in future years, adore. You know, a man picking his nose or something. However, according to the local police, the driver may then have panicked. This resulted in him hitting another bus. Oh, and a truck. It's unclear whether anyone was hurt, but Google's Vishnu Mahmud confirmed the accident to the AFP news agency. He said: "We take incidents like this very seriously. We're working closely with local authorities to address the situation." On Indonesia's largest online forum, Kaskus, there are images of the damaged Street View car. They show that the front end has endured significant denting. Some reports suggest the driver, having hit the first bus, may have been trying to make a quick getaway, which caused a touch more imprecision in his steering. Still, one hopes that all the footage remains intact, as this would make for fascinating viewing on Google Street View.
