"We've confidentially submitted an S-1 to the SEC for a planned IPO," the company tweeted. "This Tweet does not constitute an offer of any securities for sale." Within moments of Twitter's tweet, the social network lit up with people adding in their two-cents on the announcement. Along with the usual "congrats" and "this the end" statements, people also questioned what Twitter meant by "confidentially," exclaimed they want a piece of the money pie, and mused on how Facebook's IPO wasn't too hot.
