The archived video is also available for viewers using QuickTime 7 on Windows. In contrast, Apple decided not to livestream the event at its iPhone launch in June but made the video available afterward for viewers with QuickTime 7 on Windows as well as Safari and Apple TV users. On Tuesday, the company showed off plenty of software, including a free OS X Mavericks, but the star of the show was the Apple's new iPad devices, which included iPad Air and a new iPad mini. The video stream of Tuesday's event requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later. If you want to re-live Apple's on-air iPad unveils, the Cupertino has posted a video of its Tuesday event online.


The iPad-maker decided to livestream its event this time around, but the stream only worked on newer versions of Safari and Apple TV. The archived video is also available for viewers using QuickTime 7 on Windows.
