Under T-Mobile's offer, a customer would pay $26.25 a month for two years. An iPad Mini with Retina Display would cost $22.08 a month for 24 months. T-Mobile is hoping that the iPad will bring in new revenue beyond smartphone plans. The company hasn't traditionally been strong with tablets, partially because it has never before sold the iPad. But with an agreement struck to get the iPhone 5 into its stores earlier this year, it was expected that T-Mobile would get the iPad as well. As listed on Apple's site, T-Mobile will offer 200 megabytes of data for free to all tablet users, and people can pay up for more data in plans that are similar to what the carriers offer.
