So continues the media exodus to the greener pastures of tech companies.

Among many others, there were Katie Couric and David Pogue going over to Yahoo. Add one more to the list: New York Times Magazine design director Arem Duplessis will be headed to Apple in February as a creative director, according to Mediabistro.

It's not yet clear what Duplessis, who worked at the magazine for almost a decade and was behind some of its most memorable covers, will specifically be doing at Apple, but he will be joining the company's internal marketing team.

Duplessis told Mediabistro: "I have worked with some of the smartest people on the planet and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience such a great gig. With that said, it's time for a new chapter and a new challenge."
