According to Adweek, a new $6.99 per month plan is available for some people who want to stream on only one device in standard-definition. Any extra devices or high-definition streaming will still cost $7.99 per month. It appears that Netflix is testing this discounted plan for just some users when they sign up for the service. Other users aren't offered the $6.99 single screen plan when signing in as a new customer. It appears the company is doing something right -- in October, Netflix was said to have 30 million US subscribers, which means it now has more paying customers than HBO.
