The YouTube video, entitled "Hope Garden," is still live. It shows Bradley offering a guided tour of what he says are his plants. However, this wasn't a frivolous exercise. Bradley explained in the video -- posted in October -- that he has terminal cancer and that he'd like to be able to share his pot with those in similar situations. He asked for donations -- and even gave a P.O. Box number. The Associated Press reports that police were quite interested in Bradley's appeal. Indeed, they came to his house and say they found more than two pounds of marijuana. Police also say they discovered, according to WTNH-TV, hashish, cocaine, oxycodone, packaging material, and $1,017 in cash. Bradley said in the video that he'd had a motorcycle accident, after which he'd suffered a head injury. "I don't even think I'm thinking correctly," he said. Police have charged him with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of hashish with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a drug factory. Medical marijuana is legal in Connecticut, but Bradley explained in the video that he didn't, as yet, have a license. The police say that Bradley was previously arrested in 2008 for allegedly possessing more than 10 pounds of pot. Some, though, might wonder what possible benefit there might be in pursuing Bradley -- especially if he truly has terminal cancer. He is due to appear in court on Tuesday, where perhaps more facts may emerge.
