As one of the biggest names in chips, Intel is expected to make waves at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The giant chipmaker has two major events on the schedule: Monday's press conference at 1 p.m. PT, and later in the day, CEO Brian Krzanich's keynote address.

What's not known is exactly what the company will talk about at which event. But it is thought that it will reveal its plans in a wide range of areas, from wearables to "perceptual computing," to new tablets, and even to PCs with both Android and Windows built in.
