(Credit: James Martin/CNET) Sony has been talking television over the last year and now it's becoming more clear what the company had it mind. According to The Wall Street Journal, Sony is working on an original TV show called "Powers" that will be available on its PlayStation game console. "It's about having a broad range of broadcast content to replicate the live TV experience," president and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House told the Journal. The show will be produced by Sony Pictures TV -- of "Breaking Bad" fame -- and will be available through the PlayStation Network, according to the Journal. This means that users will be able to stream the show directly to their console, just as they would Netflix or Hulu. "Powers" will be a one-hour fantasy drama about people with supernatural powers. The protagonist of the series is a detective who solves crimes that involve people who have superhero capabilities. According to the Journal, "Powers" will appeal to gamers because it's a crime noir show about supernatural powers and police work. "It overlays extremely well with the demographics of the PlayStation," CEO of Sony Entertainment Michael Lynton told the Journal.
