The Surface Pro will finally be available to Japanese consumers starting Friday, June 7.

Microsoft's Japanese Surface Web site already lists the tablet with the 128GB version selling for 99,800 yen ($975) and the 256GB version going for 119,800 yen ($1,171). The 64GB model apparently won't be sold in Japan.

Both versions come with Windows 8 Pro and Office Home and Business 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook). The Surface Pro tablet will also treat Japanese buyers to some exclusive Touch Cover accessories.

Since its launch in early February, the Surface Pro has gradually been traveling around the world, recently reaching Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Consumers in several more countries will also be able to buy the tablet by the end of May.
