According to documents obtained by Building Design Online, Google's architect, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, has released the first renderings of Google's upcoming European headquarters. The building will rise 11 stories at its highest point and be a total of 330 meters in length. The headquarters will also achieve an "outstanding" BREEAM certification -- a top design and assessment method for green buildings. It'll even have a garden on its roof. One other interesting note: the building will actually be a mixed-use facility, and house restaurants and shopping on its first floor. Google bought the land in London to erect a new headquarters for $1 billion. When the project is completed in 2017, it's expected to be valued at $1.6 billion. (Via The Verge)
