Boost Mobile announced on Thursday that the Samsung Galaxy Prevail II is now available through the no-contract carrier.

The entry-level smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and features a 4-inch WVGA display and 1.4GHz processor. Additionally, the Galaxy Prevail II offers a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1750 mAh battery. Also present are the standard fare of Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth (4.0), and microSD expansion (up to 64GB) slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Prevail II is offered with Boost Mobile's $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plan. Customers who pay their bill on time are rewarded with shrinking monthly statements; every six on-time payments knocks the price down by $5 per month. After 18 months, customers can ultimately get their bill down to $40 per month.

The Galaxy Prevail II is available beginning today for $179.99.
