Google has shared images of its new and improved Glass.

The company on Tuesday posted images of the new Google Glass, featuring a mono earbud and support for prescription glasses. It appears that the device has no other hardware upgrades, but Google says that it's compatible with shades it plans to offer at some point in the future.

The images follow a blog post from Google on Monday that announced the upgrade. The company also offered current Explorers a one-time option to exchange their current Glass with the new option. Google hasn't said exactly when that will be made available, saying only that it'll be coming sometime later this year.

The improvement also comes with the expansion of Google's Glass Explorer program. Over the next few weeks, current Google Glass Explorers can invite up to three people to join the program. Those people will be required to buy Glass to get started.
