(Credit: Chevrolet/GM) With refreshes to its big ol' Silverado 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups under its belt, Chevrolet turns its attention to its mid-sized Colorado pickup at the 2013 Los Angeles auto show next week. According to Chevy, the all-new Chevrolet Colorado will be "engineered to be the most capable, most versatile and technologically advanced midsized truck in the market." When the automaker calls the Colorado "all-new," it likely means just that. The pickup will have been completely redesigned since its last appearance in the American market at the end of the 2012 model year. (We should point out that the Colorado name has lived on in the global market, but on totally different truck from that of North America.) What we do know is that the Colorado will likely feature a new headlamp, grill, and hood design to update its look and to bring the mid-size into line with its larger siblings. As is the thrust of the modern mid-size pickup market, we're guessing that the next Colorado will also debut with an emphasis on being more fuel efficient than ever before.
