Is there an Android game or app that you can't live without? You can now give it a thumbs-up though Google's Players' Choice Awards.

The new awards page invites you to vote for your favorite app among various categories. You can pick your most addictive game, the best franchise game, the best game based on a movie, the best app for enhancing the everyday, the best app for booking and buying, and the best Google app.

Google offers several suggestions in each category. The most addictive game section serves up such titles as Angry Birds Star Wars II, Candy Crush, and Tiny Death Star. Apps that enhance the everyday include Snapchat, TripIt, and Duolingo. And among Google's choices for its own apps you'll find Chrome for Android, Google Maps, and YouTube.

Don't like any of Google's suggestions? You can write it your own candidate. And Google is looking for your vote.

"Help us decide in our first-ever Players' Choice Awards, where you'll vote for your favorite apps and games of the year," the search giant said in a Facebook post. "The winning apps and games, as chosen by you, will be featured on Google Play, so start voting."

And while you're at it, tell us all your favorite Android app in the comments section below.
