If you're looking for another way to purchase the supremely affordable Motorola Moto G Android smartphone, then consider Boost Mobile's version of the budget handset. Priced at a low $129.99, the wireless carrier has just announced it will sell the device online starting January 14th online. The Moto G is then scheduled to hit select Boost Mobile retail stores on January 20th.

Equipped with powerful enough components to run Google's modern Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with the promise of upgrades to 4.4 KitKat soon, the Moto G is compact, capable, and crafted with high build quality. Additionally, the Moto G uses a removable back plate, not for swapping in more memory or a fresh battery, but for sporting new colors.

One interesting twist Boost has added to the handset is the NextRadio app which it says will offer, "a new type of interactive experience." While I prefer listening to tracks saved in on-board memory or streamed though solution such as TuneIn Radio, Boost points out that using the Moto X's FM receiver is more battery efficient.
