Buh-bye, Flappy Bird?


Dong Nguyen, creator of the app that's been making $50,000 a day in ad revenue (and that some have called the worst smartphone game ever), tweeted today that he'll be pulling the game tomorrow. Apparently all the attention it's been getting have been too much:


Nguyen had tweeted earlier that he needed some peace:


Nguyen said Saturday that legal issues weren't behind the decision. Some people have pointed out similarities between Flappy Bird and earlier games.

He also said that he won't be selling the game himself but that he still makes games:
