Set in the time period between "Revenge of the Sith," the third of the major "Star Wars" prequels, and the original 1977 "Star Wars," "Rebels" takes place "in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy," Disney said last year, "and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape."
