A new tool on Motorola's Moto Maker site, the Web store for customizing and purchasing Moto X phones, lets users migrate contact and calendar information from an Apple iCloud account to a Google account. The steps appear pretty straightforward, according to a help page on the migration tool. After purchasing a Moto X from the Moto Maker site, users enter their iCloud credentials, log in to their Google account, and click a few "Begin Transfer" prompts to migrate over their contacts and calendar data. "Hope folks who are transitioning from an iOS Motorola Moto Xdevice find it useful." The tool is powered by Mark/Space, according to the screenshots posted by Soni. It also appears to only be available to customers purchasing a new Moto X from the Moto Maker site. Google's Motorola Mobility is trying to lure iPhone users over to the Moto X.


A new tool on Motorola's Moto Maker site, the Web store for customizing and purchasing Moto X phones, lets users migrate contact and calendar information from an Apple iCloud account to a Google account.


The steps appear pretty straightforward, according to a help page on the migration tool.
